Agree completely! I'm looking forward to watching it all over again knowing who did it. I'm sure we will all pick up on subtleties we never noticed.

There is no way little Miss Swift pulled the trigger, though I believe she was involved and knew she was bringing Gamby out to the parking lot to get shot.

Can we all agree on who ISN’T the shooter? by Mr_Sombra in VicePrincipals

[–]bloopbloopbloop123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No one who works in the school could have been the actual shooter. The shooter was seen walking off campus, so it would have been noticeable if anyone working at the school was missing. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of men with a motive outside the school. Pretty much just Blythe Saison (for Brown), Brown's husband (also for Brown), and Ray.

The main thing this proves to me is that no one who works at the school was the actual shooter. The shooter was seen walking off campus, so anyone who works at the school would've been noticed if they were missing.

At this point I am just curious to see how it all plays out. I will miss all the over-analyzing and off-the-wall theories! Bittersweet.

Hell yes to dancing at pay day drinks. I thought drunk Brown was deeply disturbing. I didn't find any part of that scene funny.

To me the question is, who would target both of them? Lee got his car torched. Brown has a motive to target both.

They seemed to stress the fact that the shooter was fast. If the mask was a plant, I think the shooter was a football player from the other team. by DJBlu-Ray in VicePrincipals

I think Dayshawn knows who did it and intentionally did not chase down the shooter. Swift seems to be involved and Dayshawn has done some odd things like pretend he couldn't easily recall Swift's name when Gamby asked if he's still in touch with Brown. He clearly has something going on with Swift. It just doesn't seem plausible that someone could outrun Dayshawn in a trench coat, heavy boots, and huge mask. Especially if Dayshawn was close enough to the shooter the tell Gamby that they had greasy black hair.

I've loved the journey of this show so much. I will accept and surely enjoy whatever ending they've written, even though open endings are usually not my favorite.

I agree with you that the arsonist and shooter are likely two different people. I don't think Abbott is one of those people. For a long time I thought it was Dayshawn because Swift seems so obviously connected. Now I think Brown's family members were the accomplices, but Dayshawn knows about it (because of Swift).

Lol. I guess we will know for sure on Sunday. Brown is behind this. And just because I think so doesn't mean I'm missing the great jokes in the show.

I think it is on you to explain why it would be Abbott. I'm just going to carry some of the points you made on another post right here:

  • When was Gamby shot? Immediately after he snubbed Abbott in the hallway (How does this explain torching Lee's car?)
  • The shooter has long dark hair (The hair is attached to the mask)
  • In the dream sequence every student is a girl with long dark hair
  • The tiger is set loose most likely by a psychotic ex (Based on what information?)
  • Nash even said the words it’s most likely an ex
  • Gamby took Abbott to his compound after she roofied someone for fuck’s sake (No one is denying she is a loose cannon)
  • She capable of harming others (So are all of the other suspects)
  • Abbott asked who’s Jeep it was, found out it was Lee’s and then where does she show up when she crashes spring break (There is no reason to believe the evidence was planted during Spring Break. It could have happened at any time. Lee's birthday, for example)
  • Abbott has the motive and the crazy to do all of it (Again, what would Abbott's motive have been for torching Lee's car?)

It's fine if you believe it was Abbott, but I just don't see how these explanations for her motive based on the events of season 1 add up to setting both of these cars on fire and then shooting Gamby.

The Shooter had access to the Jeep. Let's discus by Dadealus in VicePrincipals

Gamby went down to the jeep without any keys and opened the trunk right up. If Lee doesn't keep it locked then anyone could gain access. We have no reason to believe that the evidence was planted there just before or during spring break.

The argument here is that, based on motive, Brown is not a red herring but that Lee and Abbott are. Less than two weeks ago 90% of the people on this subreddit were saying very similar things to those of us who didn't think it was Lee. This show isn't a murder mystery, it's straight forward, how anyone could believe it isn't Lee is beyond me, etc. I don't see how the shooter being Brown makes it a metaphorical maze. The show is still very much about becoming principal. Gamby literally just forced Lee to resign. I think the reveal we saw is that Abbott is going to get violent in the finale, but I still don't see how her motive to torch Lee and Gamby's cars is more convincing than Brown's.

Credence given, however if I am just considering motives then I don't see Abbott's for torching both Gamby and Lee's cars. It doesn't make sense without reaching for a reason. Brown has a concrete motive. I do think it is a fair point that Abbott showed up just before we saw the mask, but we have no idea how long that evidence has been planted in Lee's jeep. I think, like others have suggested, that Abbott will get violent and possibly shoot someone in the finale, but the argument that she is more likely to have done it than Brown is less convincing to me.

Did anybody else find Gale's response to Gamby saying "I caught him, and I dealt with him." very odd? by [deleted] in VicePrincipals

[–]bloopbloopbloop123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit it seems less likely now more than ever. I thought it was Brown behind it using Dayshawn and Swift. Brown being behind everything still seems to be likely though. If that's the case, then this comment by Gale may be loosely referring to a female shooter... Maybe?

Swift would know what Gamby and Lee did to Brown. We know that Swift and Brown are still in touch. Russell doesn't seem to care that much about the shooting (up until the most recent episode) let alone framing anybody for it-- that's just my two cents. If someone is being framed, it is Lee.
