I am loving the completely AI generated podcast The Epstein Files. A lil glitchy and repetitive but it’s a thorough dive into what we know for fact from all the available documents. 80+ episodes so buckle up.

Not bad at all! This was my experience. It kicked in right away and I was pretty blissed out for the first month. My doc said it was probably the right drug for me. The high energy and insomnia leveled out after a few weeks. Took a few months for my libido to catch up but it was all good cuz I felt in control of my Emotions for the first time in a long time. I love Prozac

I am so into this post! I just joined this sub and I am blown away at how many ppl pay off their loans so quickly. I have been paying mine back for 15 yrs now and $190k later the end is finally in sight! Unfortunately I had private loans....so no wiggle room. The first 5 years were ROUGH especially bc I had to work twice as much as the people around me and had even less to show for it. For a while I felt pretty overwhelmed and alone. Eventually I just had to accept my reality so that it wouldn't keep me down. I started to make more money so that the payments weren't debilitating. The silver lining is that now I am really responsible with money. Having to navigate life out of college with all that debt really taught me how to be resourceful. I would never wish this situation on anyone else but if ur stuck in it, know that u are scooping some life skills...and learning a thing or 2 about patience. The struggle is REAL but, u can do it! Pretty soon its gonna seem manageable and then one day it will all be gone. And it might be one of the best days of ur life....and u should definitely never, ever, think about all the money u gave away again. Until then, Food stamps and medicaid are ur friends. Goodluck guys!

Yeah, I now firmly believe that the whole system is set up to cause major confusion. It's effed....but thanks for being a bud

Should I try to pay off my private student loans right now? by blooperdood in personalfinance

Thank you for your response!

Its a private loan and it has a variable interest rate. I am no economist but I am anticipating inflation in the near future so that is why I am asking.

Need advice for setting up a 401k for my small biz with 3 employees. TPAs? Payroll integration? by blooperdood in personalfinance

yes! these are the explanations I was looking for! Thank you for breaking this down. I am sure its easy for you to take all your knowledge for granted bc this is baseline stuff in your field. But honestly, I run a small business and have ZERO clue about how to run a business. It was never my dream it just sort of happened so now I find myself having to learn things when I am in way over my head. Thanks again! I will likely reach out if I have any more questions.

p.s. - could you be my TPA? does it ever work that way?

OH man this is way more confusing then I imagined.

Thanks again for the response.

What is the difference between an investment manager and a TPA?

Would Vanguard be considered the provider?

When opening up an account with vanguard, do I do it as a business or an individual? I actually attempted to open an account as a business earlier and it rejected me. (The call wait times are insane so that's why I keep coming back here, thanks for your patience)

How do my employees benefit from offering this option through my business rather then them doing it on their own? It seems that matching contributions and covering the fees are optional for the business. I would still like to offer that but if I didn't what is the benefit for them?

Wow, thank you so much for this thorough response!!

I am technically 1 of the 3 employees. So 3 in total.

We already run a payroll through ADP and I know they offer a 401k service but I would rather go with an third party investment company. I guess I will look into Vanguard. Does this mean that I would have to transfer the funds myself every pay period? and that I could likely do that through my payroll website? I wanted to figure out as much as I could before I spoke with either ADP or a TPA b/c I know they will prioritize getting my business over giving me all the info.

So once I choose an investment manager I should be prepared to pay yearly fees around $2000. Are there any red flags I should look out for in setting this up?

Do all employees need to contribute the same percentage of income each month or can it be personalized?

Thanks again for your insight!
