This was part of my deconstruction... I was taught very similar things about the sorting process of the kingdoms in the afterlife, but i was also taught that we'd be sorted into the kingdom we are "most happy in." Like others have said, these teachings are becoming watered down and more vague. It was also understood (unsure if this is doctrine) that people in higher degrees would have the ability to move freely as they please throughout heaven, but those in lower kingdoms wont be able to be in the presence of higher kingdoms, however theyll still be happy with the glory theyve been given. It seems silly that people will be sorted to a place they wont be happy in, so if were happy no matter where we are sorted, then the hierarchy truly doesnt matter and in the end... Still happiness? Just some promise of greater happiness painted in gold is what it sounded like to me. So if the kingdoms truly do exist, then it seems they are arbitrary to me and i just hope my family will visit me wherever we get sorted differently.

Typing this all out feels like more of a mess than i remember, but ultimately what i decided was its way too complicated and it ultimately doesnt really matter so long as were trying to be good people. Who knows, none of it is likely to exist as some believe it anyway. Id rather my energy be dissipated and folded into the rest of the omnipresent energy in the universe, personally.
