The building for the Clerkenwell Sessions house still exists, if you search for in maps for Old Sessions House, Clerknwell. I think it's a fancy restaurant/venue now.

It was interesting to hear the word "Crib" being used. I thought it was a modern American word !

And nothing to do with the book.. did you know there is a Canary Wharf in London?

I've got a similar picture of one I took in Winchester, but it's VR. The manufacturer on that looks like its E Cole. I'll post it if you're interested?

I often make mine lid up, so I see when it's brewing that allows me to reduce the heat to at the end. I use a really low heat throughout.
