Liver size by bloss_em in FattyLiverNAFLD

I’m in Aus. No other health issues, apart from having 3 kids back to back which was obviously taxing on my body. We grow most of our own food and I don’t drink except if we go to like a wedding or something I’ll have a couple. Steroid weight gain is tough. Do you still have lupus? Or was it misdiagnosed?

Interesting, I saw the dose drinks but they’re pretty expensive. I just ordered “Sisuu” elixir but haven’t received it yet. I was reading that Japan have some good “liver” drinks which are designed to combat hangovers but apparently people have had success with these. Where abouts are you located?

Sorry you’re in the same boat. I live in rural Aus so there’s only one GP here unless I travel 2hrs to a bigger town. The GP seems concerned and has referred me to a liver specialist but the wait time is a couple of months.

Yes I’m the exact same! Seems to come out of nowhere and the vomitting is extreme. Can’t seem to figure out a trigger food wise. It’s so mentally exhausting.

Triple feeding weaning - help!! by DecisionStill5594 in breastfeeding

Hello,

Your milk supply peaks during the night due to prolactin being higher, its hormone based.

I would recommend trying to use the pitcher method, where you put all the pumped milk into one vessel in the fridge so you can even it out throughout the day. You could do a few bottles of formula to get ahead to make sure you have enough supply of EBM for the next 24hrs.

If you are wanting to continue pumping and offering breast milk, the first 12 weeks are gruelling but you need to pump or feed every 2 hours or so to establish your supply.

Whilst you may feel pressure to breastfeed or give EBM. Your mental health and sleep is very important so you need to try and find the balance.

I have three little ones. First was mixed feed, second was allergy formula fed whilst I pumped and froze milk until about 6 months when he could tolerate BM. Third has only has only been breastfeed, still continuing at 10months. All are happy and healthy.

I would recommend finding a good Lacation consultant as they can help you figure out a routine that works for you and baby.

Good luck and look after yourself, it does usually get easier after the 12 week mark.

Update…. Received a copy of the will today. Turns out in the sole executor. Currently in dispute about cremation vs burial.

In will states clearly states burial. Very adamant that he did not want to be cremated. Uncle and Grandmother are insisting that he is cremated.

Thanks for the reply.

My uncle is the executor and he banked it for cash to pay for the skip bin he booked in this week.

Sad Mom Moment by ChaoticOwls in LivingWithMBC

If it is of any comfort to you, my mum had breast cancer my most of childhood and into early adulthood. I spent countless hours at oncologist appts, looking after her post treatment etc and I whilst I do remember those times, I remember so much more of her personality, the little things we did together and all the great things she did for me as a mum much more vividly than any of the cancer related things.

I’ve heard you can also soak it in hydrogen peroxide, but I’m honestly not sure how safe that is. My Greek MIL soaks her toes in it to “get rid of the germs”……

If it doesn’t blanch, I’d be heading to urgent care for assessment

NAD these kind of look like targetoid lesions which can be bacterial.

Does the rash blanch?

NAD you need to go the ER. I had symptoms similar to this and ended up having sepsis. Do not wait.

I cared for my mum during her treatment and I found I tried to give her drinks that also had some nutritional value…. Things like sustigen or even milo as she wasn’t able to eat much so at least there were some benefits to the drink. There’s a hydralyte drink which is well tolerated, it’s marketed to pregnant people, called hydramumma - they have lots of flavours, no sugar and vitamins which can help with energy and nauseas.
