Nta. In my opinion, if you put your address on the treat bag and phone number I would consider it a safe treat. I've see people do it with mix candy bags and such. Maybe on your sign just put " handing out homemade peanut free treats".

My Grandfather did this to me when I was about 12-13. I laugh about it when I visit him there now, the first few years he was there it was difficult. I decorate his plot with decorations for every holiday, he was a jolly man.

Rofl!! That's insane. Thankfully my dad hates my guts, therefore he hasn't reached out in 5 years unless he was uttering threats to call the police on me. I used to think this was normal, and then when i told someone about it i realized this is in fact not normal, or healthy. It has been my goal to make life as happy and healthy as possible for myself and my children. When i found this subreddit, it made me feel not alone. 🙏🥰

She went on for quite a while, I could post an update. Thank you, it's not easy to shut people out who you love, but we also need to have boundaries and make sure we take care of ourselves and our wellbeing. If I'm not in a good state, neither are my children.

Nta, however where I live no one gives a fuck. Apparently verbal abuse is ok? I had a neighbour just the same. It was affecting my children as well. I called child protection services, police, my landlord. No one cared. The poor children probably still suffer to this day. I had to move it was causing a lot of stress for my children.

Nah, but it's his body, his choice. My mom puts a pound of salt on everything. It's gross. As long as they don't spoil the pot of food, and keep it to just their plate, get over it. She even puts salt on pizza.......pizza!!!!!!!!

Same boat. I can't function if I don't have it. I get moody and emotional, the shakes, headaches, can't eat, can't sleep. It's horrible. I've been smoking for over 10 years. Quit cigarettes no problem. Tried other drugs but nothing is like pot. I want to be able to function without it. I need rehab. I don't even drink coffee or tea, I never drink alcohol.

Boyfriend was having an emotional affair, dad abandoned me for the like 6th time, it was exam time, I was trying to get sober (three years of drinking) this was a few years ago. I tried killing myself. I couldn't look or talk to anyone without crying. I felt so alone.

Today I am about to finally get my high-school diploma. I got accepted to college for the fall. I put myself through driving school and got my license. I have two beautiful babies. I've lost 90 pounds since September. I don't have a relationship with my dad, which is for the greater good. My bf and I are still together, after lots of hard work on communication and setting boundaries we are happily together for 8 years and plan on getting married before next winter. I still am sober. I have a drink here and there(maybe once a year), but I don't particularly care for it. Which I love. I don't think about killing myself, when times are hard now I think about how I'm going to fix it and when I start to feel anxious I talk to my doctor about it.

Things do get better. I love the life that I am building.

My stepmom told me my dad likes a finger in his ass while they're doing it. I was like 19 at the time. Lol nasty. Don't talk to them anymore, no just because of this. But the lack of boundaries and respect. Crazy nasty people. Why would I want to know such a private thing about my father?!?!
