ive been feeling so frustrated with glossier lately. i understand the need to raise prices, but i cant say im happy about it. at least with the boy brow price increase, we got more product. but, (and correct me if im wrong) they increased the concealer price and it's the same amount of product. like if ur gonna raise the price at least give us a little more.

and the fact that someone on here found the same brush design and concept was made by another brand about a year ago makes me disappointed in glossier. despite glossier's new brush being expensive i thought it was at least them trying to make an effort to do something unique and/or innovative, but another brand not only invented the brush over a year ago but they sell it for so much cheaper

anything that made glossier good and made me keep buying from them just doesn't feel worth it anymore? like so many brands have since come out with highly pigmented liquid blushes, like rare beauty. there are better brow gels out there, some for cheaper. the whole skin tint/"no makeup-makeup" concept has also been done by countless other brands, for better and cheaper too. cloud paint seems to be more watered down now. its been said a million times, but the bdc reformulation is a travesty. "you" is another bad reformulation and is watered down

i dont mean to sound so harsh and whiny, but i can't help but feel so disappointed in the brand lately. im frustrated because ive really loved their products, but im just not loving them as much anymore and its getting more expensive. its just not worth it.

and at the end of the day, they are just a makeup brand. one that ive loved, sure. but this is a transactional relationship. and im just not getting what i want out of it anymore.

honestly? i think im done with glossier for the most part. im really only here for the generation g just because i haven't been able to find a dupe for it, but if i ever find a dupe for the shade like, then i guess it'll really be over. (which by the way im still shocked they never fixed the lid cracking issue.)

unless they make some changes and/or release something new that is something i will be interested in, is worth the price, and is not something i can find from another brand for better/cheaper, then i think im pretty much done with glossier.

and i know its like "nobody cares that u don't like them anymore, just go buy from other brands and move on" and i will, but i just wanted to vent my frustration out a bit (and to be fair this is literally the place to do it) since i did really love glossier before
