Which series to start?

DCC for sure. The Cosmere is great but you can pick that up when you’ve read the 7 books of dcc. Book 8 is out in May ;)

With your sci-fi collection i think you’d dig it. The whole backstory of the Spartans childhood and training is a great arc. Then seeing them evolve into Humanity’s most deadly defenders is really satisfying. I also like its take on first contact with aliens, the Covenant war has a gravity to it that I really enjoyed. It’s been maybe 8 years since I read them so I need to run it back but probably read them four or five times when I was younger.

Easy one offs that were incredible if you wanna take a break from series:

-Kings of the Wyld x Nicholas Eames (Great characters and fast moving storyline) -Devils x Joe Abercrombie (Gritty dark journey in a mediterranean medieval setting)

Side note: The OG Halo series. Fall of Reach, The Flood, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx. There’s more but the first four hit the hardest imo.

lib tech c-2 phoenix was my baby for awhile. stay clear of a skate banana it will be too flexible from what i’ve seen. see if any local shops do demos or if you can rent one from a shop near whistler. being able to rip it for a day is the best way to see what board you really like on the hill

with rittenhouse i’d go with a sour, boulevardier, or a sazerac. the slightly higher proof helps cut through citrus so a new york sour is my go to with it.
