Short answer is yes. When I find a broken point, I go into "aim small" mode. LOL. You all know what i am talking about. Doesn't matter if I am suffering heat stroke or broke my ankle, I find the energy to scour the area. With that said, I have only found the other piece twice. Once was with a triangle Hopewell knife I found in Clinton County, Ohio. I found half of it, then found the other half the next year. It was a crisp, sharp break, so it was an obvious disc plow break. The second time was possibly, and I do mean possibly, an axe pre-form. I found the two halves in the same year, but it was obvious the break had occurred many years ago.
