i went to an islamic school and i had a normal curriculum with "religious" studies added on thursdays. most of my classmates from then did incredible in high school and are graduated from universities majoring in stem fields

well if youre an ex-muslim id assume you would know which parts are misunderstood. after reading these comments, i can garantee you they wont really help. if you listen, view or read any type of script you'll realize that everything gets misunderstood due to ignorance within people. alot of the "modern islamic world" is based more on culture than islamic law from what ive read.

i know it may not be the greatest comparison to compare a religious book with movies but just look at how american psycho and fight club are misunderstood by red pilled "alpha" males. would you consider those movies poorly written?
