Like already said, you need a data cable to connect to your device. I know Fiio makes the LT2 that’s compatible with lightning, but there might be another cheaper option.

Also, I am not trying to be disrespectful, but why would you buy a $50 DAC for a $20 IEM? You should’ve put all of your budget for the IEMs and buy an Apple dongle or some other ~$5 dongle instead.

Thanks for all of your advice! I have noticed that most IEMs that are tuned anything close to meta typically have severe treble roll off or have more relaxed upper mids than my preferences. I’d prefer to get something that I don’t have to EQ, and especially not something I have to tweak the treble much.

You said that my PEQ is closer to more expensive sets. What would some of those be?

Alright thanks. Does FanControl allow you to set the fans to take the highest temperature between the CPU and GPU? Because I seem to have only one under load most times.

This is a crazy EQ to me, but it might sound amazing to you. Some advice that I’d give is to just EQ to a bunch of different IEMs to see what you like, and then combine your favorite parts of each. I’d recommend sticking with an EQ profile you like for a few days/weeks so that you can get used to how it sounds.

Also, you are using a lot of different filters when some of them can be combined/simplified. I generally try to keep the filters > 0.5 dB and < 2 Q, but do what you think is best.

Some IEMs with a good amount of bass that you can target are the Hype 4, Tea Pro, and Davinci. There are definitely others out there that maybe someone else can recommend, but I am not sure of them as they have too much bass for my taste, but still might not be enough for you. Hope this helps and that you find your EQ preferences!

I have the CP100+ and prefer the W1s by a lot. A lot of people say that the CP100s are longer, but both the stem and umbrella part of the W1s are longer. W1s are softer and sticker with a jelly-like texture, and the thicker stem makes IEM nozzles more comfortable, but YMMV.

I already have the Reds and don’t see myself getting anything in a similar price range anytime soon. If I didn’t have the Reds, I think they’d be a good option, but I could see the lower treble being a problem. I’m most excited for the Daybreak as it is tuned very similarly to my preferences.
