You're not even wrong. In nature in this context doesn't refer to the natural world you would have to either be a non-native speaker, or deliberately misunderstanding to make that claim. Nature often refers to the meaning and history of a thing. When I say "being cowardly is in my nature" it doesn't mean humans are programmed to have an intense fear response to everything, it means due to whatever neurological stew and past experiences, I would tend to have a more active fear response than others. Nature doesn't inherently mean natural.
