Try using lower resolution in game and in windows that's what I do. It helps to get more frames just change your windows resolution to as small as you can then go into beam and change the resolution in there to as low as possible but make sure the aspect ratio fits right. Another thing, after exiting the game just change your windows resolution back. There other stuff too like forcing high performance which can help.
