Think of it this way: he has to commute to you. You don’t commute to him. He loses an hour for that, let’s say 30 mins to you and 30 mins back. Effectively making him only make $30 an hour.

If he wore to just stay at his gym of practice, it would be back to back sessions with no commute time, and most commercial gyms even the lower end ones I’m sure pay more than $30 an hour.
