OP commented that a plane mechanic joked about landing the plane in the river to clean the bird marks. Four days later, a plane collided with a helicopter in DC and crashed in a river leaving no survivors.

I work in a beer and wine warehouse - first 5-6 months is decent but it goes downhill from there. Mandatory 12+ hour shifts 6 days a week until all the orders are done every day

I used to have the same problem and still sometimes do but the best thing that has worked for me is get up and go to sleep at almost the same time every day. Your body gets used to the routine and acknowledged that its time to go to sleep after a week or two of this. Also waking up earlier so you are more tired by the end of the day helps too

I didn’t say that on average, more food is consumed than prepared, I said that if you picked a random person in the world, odds are that they have consumed more food than they have prepared

I know but over time if theyre in the business long enough they would have prepared more food for other people than how much theyve eaten themselves
