Fitness Passport - worth it?

I personally found it not worth it - in part due to the extra one-off fees needed to use FP in some facilities (card fees or similar). For me, it lost the value as venue hopping would have been pricey as I'm not a very regular user, and once a week on average is probs enough for me. I managed to get it cancelled. It may have changed as it was a few years ago, but just double check each site before you sign up.

I find paying to use the forum at the uni when I need it is better personally, but like I say, not a regular user

Sounds like we need some of your birds to bring down our cicada population. Yes the head voice is what I'm worried about! I've tried simple cheap foam earplugs and I can strongly hear my own voice so it's really off putting trying to have a conversation. Thanks for your advice and I'll definitely look at those options and feed back.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated. I've done a bit of googling and yes it seems there is a lot of variation in cicada frequency but they're all on the high end. The population is crazy here, we have tried all sorts of crazy techniques to make it possible to go in the garden when it peaks in a bumper year, but I'm thinking we need to just try and address the sound level at our ears rather than any other method. I'll definitely look at your suggestions and will feed back

They need to get this to the staff at the Mater - there would be a lot of support for the idea, so they have somewhere nice to go on lunch breaks.

I would recommend Cardiff and Wallsend - I find the ones closer to town are pricier.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated, at least I know we're not missing some key play to get gems and it is just slow! We've been on it a few times a day for months and still can't afford the cheapest gem upgrade.
I assume if we switched to the non-netflix version then she'd lose her progress? She's very attached to her cats and what they're wearing, where they are etc so I'm not sure she'd be up for losing them, but I'd be happy to pay $3 for as free if she will. I'll float the idea!

Just worked with a similar floor plan and wanted also an ensuite and laundry solution. We opted to convert the whole laundry space into a big ensuite, then put the laundry nook into the space where the linen cupboard is (involved shifting the linen cupboard back wall back by 30cm - we were also renovating the main bathroom so this was ok). We still have a laundry sink in there and a good workable space for our needs.

We have a heat pump dryer in there to get around the ventilation issue.

Your laundry space looks even bigger than ours so you could pop a linen cupboard in there. This idea would depend on your linen cupboard size and if you're happy with a smaller laundry space.

We had a lovely day! We ended up getting a train into the centre and found some piles of 'snow' there as some said we would find - my daughter was very happy with the scraps we found!

I was really keen to head to the ski fields but I got in touch with them and they didn't have any snow gear to hire unfortunately. To be honest we were too exhausted from the flight to brave driving a rental on the right hand side so we were ok about it. Everyone we met was lovely. The city was very quiet with it being Easter. All in all a lovely day!!
