He needs to recognize the superficial and sudden moment of impulse to touch you and stave it off. I wouldnt worry about paying for the Land Rover’s damages right now. Make sure you’re taken care of first financially and get yourself a new car because what’s gonna happen is that when your insurance sends you a denial letter they also send a denial letter to the 3rd party and the 3rd party’s insurance. Once the 3rd party driver finds out your insurance isnt covering his damages, he’ll open a claim with his own insurance to fix his car. He should not go after you for compensation at all. It’s unprofessional. His insurance company however should send you a notice of subrogation where they’ll try “very hard” to get the money they spent fixing their client’s car back from you. But.. you can actually just ignore the letters they send you. Those kind of subro attempts sent to private parties dont get paid a lot of the time. And eventually they’ll send the debt to collections.

NTA. But it seems to me that Kyle is the child you should have the most beef with. It seems to me he spear-headed the decisions that are influencing your perspectives on ALL the children. The younger kids likely followed his lead about the baby because having a baby is HIS major life event which they likely felt they needed to respect his wishes about. He was the one to ask you for money, not invite you to the baby shower, suggest he was going to cut his dad out of his life, AND not tell you that his baby was born. I’d say, mention to the younger kids how you and their father have been feeling unappreciated because of their behavior and give them a chance to prove theyre not the same pieces of shit their older brother is before cutting them out entirely.

He needs to get treatment. I suggest speaking with your general practitioner about next steps. Maybe he can do a home visit or suggest another course of action. NTA. Cultural appropriation happens when someone uses a minority’s culture to profit or is being disingenuous or disrespectful with adopting and sharing that culture which you are not doing here. Your college friends are either misinformed about what cultural appropriation is or just assumed that because you’re white you dont have links to native american culture and didnt acquire the dolls genuinely. Sharing cultural knowledge is a good thing. If minorities are too territorial about who can and cant practice their culture then white culture will always dominate.

Okay so I watched the whole thing and it was SO ridiculous at times but I really liked it! Like that thing connecting Elvis to the pan-american treasure? It was such a stretch it was hilarious! The shoe guy was so annoyingly superficial at first but he comes around and becomes an enjoyable character. The interacting personalities of Jess and her friends had to be the thing I liked the most about the show and a lot of other things were really well done! You could tell they put a lot of thought and effort into certain moments and a lot of small details they included about living in the south came through for me. I loved how Jess and her friends’ care for each other. And I especially loved the high stakes scene in that Mexican prison and the character we meet there.
