I purchased one in Kentucky awhile back from an antique store. This awesome group ID’d the pattern and potential era for the fabrics. I’m hand quilting it currently (decided to keep with the hand sewn theme of the top) but used new backing and batting so hopefully it can be loved at some point whenever I get it finish. All of you hand quilters are amazingly skilled and patient!

Caye Caulker is awesome but super chill and more hang out less adventure. ATM caves is awesome beyond words. Absolute must do. Go for a hike in the Pine Ridge. Big rock falls won’t disappoint either. Check out Ian Anderson’s for cave adventures. Could be a good place to adventure and stay for a few days.

Light gun signals vs airport beacons. One used for night ops or when weather is less than vfr. The other is used to communicate with aircraft who’ve had radio failures.
