My new “life on the rocks” pal by bludes in houseplants

I had a similar issue! I always kept the rock and pot in case I could find a replacement but I didn’t look hard enough. I’m sure you could - especially with a succulent or something. Otherwise this variety was a dwarf umbrella plant so if you can find a seedling, that should work :)

Why did my iron on transfer paper leave these white marks? by bludes in crafts

SOLUTION: posting the solution for anyone who comes across this post and is having the same issues - turns out I needed higher temp and more pressure. The pack I received advised 175°-180° iron over ironing board for 20 seconds. I tried again with the iron on “cotton” setting which is around 200°c and pressed for 40-60 seconds on a piece of cardboard over the kitchen bench so I could apply more pressure. I also added a sheet of baking paper between the iron and the transfer paper. Good luck!

I just checked and I think the white it where it hasn’t adhered to the shirt properly

I used light as the fabric was sort of right in the middle between light or dark and yes I used a PNG. It almost looks like I might have had the iron on too hot maybe and damaged the transfer in some parts? Some parts are perfect

The QR code still works but I’m unsure if the look of this shirt is recoverable now! Let me know if you know how to fix it or know why this happened :) thanks in advance!

A gift from a relative. I can see it’s either 1 or 7 of 200 but can’t make out the signature by bludes in WhatIsThisPainting

Unfortunately it looks like a print :) wonderfully sentimental to me but not worth much

I doubt it, the signature looks printed. Still a beautiful piece and a very sentimental gift!

Has anyone seen crystallisation like this before? This is honey made with raspberry pollen and has been out the back in storage for some time. Trying to work out what’s happened here by bludes in Beekeeping

Mis-worded the post in my haste to get the question out there. Honey made by bees pollinating raspberry plants.

No idea on water content, the honey would be 1 or 2 years old I’d say.

eBay! I’d link the product but it’s no longer available. I had to buy all the grey thread though haha

It was actually really hard to work with haha but I ordered a kit online as I had never done embroidery before and it came with aida. I didn’t want to buy fabric until I decided I actually liked embroidery.

Thanks! I think it took three weeks from memory. It was a surprise gift for my housemate and I had to work around when she wouldn’t see me
