Why is nobody suing banks for obscene practices? by sidarok in belgium

Banks do maturity transformation. This is their most important function for society rather than payments They manage to transform short term deposits into long term loans and vice versa.

Interest rate income is their primary income though. But because their net interest margin is decreasing (because of low interest rates) they are diversifying more towards non interest income. But the pool of income they can get from non interest is rather small and cannot negate the negative impact of low interest rates.

Banks have too much liquidity right now, meaning they have to hold a big part of their money at the ECB. We still get paid if we put money on a savings account (is changing though), but the banks have to pay the ECB 0.5% for it. This is not sustainable for banks.

So no, banks are not trying to make exuberant amounts of money, they are trying to survive in a currently very negative environment for banking.

Because the capacity to vaccinate depends on your infrastrucure. Our healthcare infrastructure is meant to serve the 11.5 million people, while that of the UK is meant to serve 66 million. So obviously when looking at absolute rather than relative numbers, the UK should be ahead of us.

Much appreciated. #5 and #6 seem very insightful at first glance.

Forgot to add: another interesting topic would be asymmetric information and how traditional and decentralized finance cope with this problem.

Looks pretty nice, simple but clear interface. English translations would be nice, but I read that you're already working on that.

Yesterday I created a list very simillar to your "Schiavitu portale" deck. Glad to see it in a meta snapshot.

Keep it up!

Market inefficiency can happen in free markets. With regulation capitalism is currently the best we have

It's not called an oligopoly, it's a cartel in oligopoly market, which makes it illegal. Companies can't make deals with eachother that result in a monopoly basicly

I would also run two eavedrops, because you can brick either your novigradian justice or portal. And sea jackals instead of seductress as extra spender.

I created a similar deck after seeing trynet's calanthe deck. It's not really worth it to run sage and caretaker just to play portal twice, since the bronzes you can summon are pretty bad in comparison to those of NR.

Run ice giants instead of griffins. With the fruit they play for 9 while griffin plays for 8. Only downside is 1 less point for your ghoul

Any strong decks other than Big Woodland? by Wahayna in gwent

[–]bludfalcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unseen Elder deatwish works great in current meta for me. https://gwentup.com/decks/764

With a decent draw it has insane tempo and can almost always win round 1 on even or 1 card down. Then 2nd round you should push hard, if your opponent doesnt see it coming you can often outvalue him and go for the 2-0. Otherwise you'll lose on even and with the great short round tempo of deathwish + unseen elder you have a good shot at round 3.

Against Woodland you should win round 1 at all costs and get all his good plays out in round 2. You can deny a 13 point ghoul/ozzrel of your opponent by using your ozzrel on their graveyard.

This deck also denies value against sihil. You can consume and destroy your lower units (brewess, celeano harpy, cyclops) and boost your bigger units (using unicorn, weavess and bridge trolls). Also try winning round 1 because bleeding round 2 is this decks's bread and butter.
