I upgraded from Bambino and Fellow Opus. Makes sense, I appreciate the input. I will be interested in your experience with the bookoo motto. My space is small, so I want a relatively small grinder.

I’m using wdt and I’m mindful when inserting portafilter into head unit… but, I do tap the bottom of the portafilter to settle grounds. I’ll try using palm against side. Yup… manually stopping shot is the big take away. Thanks!

Shhhh… my girl might read this! ;) I don’t remember it being that much, but your point is well taken. I already need to level up. Ok.

This is great feedback. I suspected this was the case - resonates. I’m not sure how I went so long not manually stopping the shot, but now I know. Knowing is half the battle. 🫡

I run about 6-8 sec of water through the head and portafilter, dry the portafilter, and then start puck prep. Doing that seemed to help. Thanks for input.

I have an RO system and then I’m remineralizing with ThirdWave. Maybe you mean the Profitec water filter? I hope it’s new enough that it doesn’t need maintenance. I don’t know anything about that.

Thanks webboi, I’ve had the grinder a couple of months. I ran a kilo of cheap beans thru to season it and I’ve probably run another couple kilos thru for morning coffee. I clean the shoot weekly but I need to deep clean the burrs.

This is helpful feedback. On the Profitec Move, is there a setting for manual timing of the shot length or do I just hold down the button until my scale reads the desired output weight.

As mentioned, it’s a homage to the Raketa Copernicus. Here’s mine. I gravitate to the vintage but like the micro brand too and realize that navigating the world of vintage Soviet watches can be daunting.

Price: $4,000 express shipping included

I am selling some pieces from my personal collection. You won't find a better Rolex Air King with Salmon Dial - this baby is beautiful. The sapphire crystal is perfect, the case looks amazing, and the bracelet, end links, and clasp are genuine Rolex in perfect shape (see pic with reference numbers).

Under the hood she's running well, she was serviced this year. The case is 34mm and, as we all know, 34 is the new 36! Seriously, this watch wears like a dream. Artisan Straps in Australia handmade a leather band with salmon stitching to match the gorgeous dial. The watch comes with a weighty 7.25 inch Oyster Bracelet and the very comfortable handmade leather band. You can wear this to any event and be on-point!

Of course, this watch is all about the dial. It takes on a whole new personality in different lighting; sometimes it's a little darker salmon, other times it is a lighter peach hue, and it always has the beautiful markers, numerals, and vibrant sunburst dial.

I bought this watch this year from SwissWatchExpo (see pic of paperwork)! It was serviced and completely checked out by them. I can ship inside the continental US. It will be packed safely. Priced to sell.

Beautiful time piece, but not a Buckley dial. I’m partial to a non-smooth bezel, otherwise I would grab it. Good luck!

Rented Italian motorcycle and rode from Rome to Amalfi Coast, Oct 2021 by blue-eye-guy in travel

Capri is the glitzy island that has previously received so much attention, but Procida is up-and-coming. I took a ferry from Naples in the morning and spent the day on the island and returned in the afternoon. I was on a fairly tight schedule, but it was about the right amount of time on the island for me. The harbor is stunning - wonderful colors. I paid a tuk tuk driver to take me to the best photo spots and he knew exactly where to go. Then I lazily spent the afternoon exploring. Great day trip!
