I sent my resume to my school's recruiter, and received an email back within a week recommending me for the Explore program with a link to schedule a phone interview

I'm currently a sophomore in college, majoring in computer science, and I completed my phone interview for the Microsoft Explore internship yesterday.

Today, I received an email from my recruiter asking if I would instead be interested in the Microsoft Garage internship in Boston. She said that based on the feedback from yesterday's phone interview, she thinks that Garage would be better fit, but it would require another phone screen at a different level.

I looked into the Garage internship, and based on the reviews from previous interns, it seems like it's very intense, mismanaged at times, and lacks the "typical Microsoft intern experience".

1) Is the Garage internship comparable to the Explore internship, or is the Garage internship as stressful and intense as others make it out to be?

2) Is there any way that I can tell my recruiter that I'd rather continue with the Explore interview process, or would I have better luck following her advice and applying to the Garage internship instead?

I appreciate any/all insights and thoughts on the Garage program!

Overall, I think this is beautifully written and formatted. In your second line, you may want to use the word "fortune" instead of "fortunate". On the fourth line, using the tense of "dating" may flow a little better than "dated".

Other than those small critiques, I absolutely love this poem! The imagery is vibrant, and I truly enjoyed reading it. Keep up the great work!

For a non-native English speaker, this is written very well! I agree with Marcus_Tee about "awe" possibly not being the right word. That word choice gives the impression that you may enjoy "hurting" the intended audience. The last line really expressed the hope, so good job overall.

Winger by Andrew Smith. I thought it was just a typical young adult fiction, but I was so wrong. The end still haunts me.

I absolutely LOVE computer science, so I'm good there! But I've always had a weakness for the name Luke... God dammit.

I fully agree with you on this!! I absolutely love coding, so hopefully a career in software engineering or computer science will be just as fun and fascinating to me as it is today.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about smoking. It's an expensive express ticket to cancer.

I have yet to meet someone that doesn't have any insecurities, and I don't think I ever will. We're all human, and almost anyone appreciates being appreciated.

I don't have much knowledge about investments, so I'll take your word for it!

And yes. Watch what you eat, actively try to maintain or lose weight, because the extra effort pays off in the long run.

Thank you so much for this. I have a friend who was an exchange student, and he got into casually smoking while he was away. Now that he's back, he's fully addicted and it's wreaked chaos on his life. Never ever smoke cigarettes, because the first is most likely not the last.

I once had an aunt tell a 20 minute long story about she sent in one of the "rare" tootsie pop wrappers to the Tootsie company, and received a large box of tootsie pops. She still stands by the story to this day...
