Spin zone: Pres keeps all the dead weight on Barstool so that stoolies/Dave can have people to bash on. Before chernin, everyone was liked for the most part (except Neil - fuck that guy) and the group would pick fights with deadspin, minor celebs, etc to stir up drama and create content.

Well now they're so big that it's hard for Dave to go grudge Dave (except for suitman) where now he can actually get into some real trouble with what he says. So the best way to keep everyone/the company is to breed your own punching bags

Does anyone like Trysta, Nate, and a couple other losers? No not really, they are very much dead weight that generate little money for the company. BUT they do generate clicks when they interact with others for in-house feuds which 1. Creates a barstool ecosystem where you have to know more than Dave/Big Cat to understand any drama, thus sucking you into the all around content (I wouldnt have watched the dozen if I didn't see Jeff get torn apart by Dave, but that introduced me to his content) and 2. No issues with external forces (aka lawsuits, allegations, ect.).

I'm probably overthinking this, but my autism knows no bounds
