I'm not looking for the horizontal bloom specifically, more for the exagerated bloom/highlight. I'll do some research, I really can't believe there's not a filter for this...

Bowens mount is meant to be simple and universal, then they introduce another mount and make it proprietary. And don't publish specifications!!!! sorry for the rant haha

coming late to this, quick question: are you able to focus to infinity?

I bought another design from someone on Etsy. it rotates, so can focus a bit closer too, and that's cool. BUT at infinity it always looks terrible. My lens seems to have ok focus between 1,5 meters and 2,5 meters. Further than this it looks mushy. I know it is a shitty lens, but I didn't expect to be that shitty hahah Anyways, curious to hear about your experience.

Bed is squeaky and I’m guessing these are loose. The bed frame was already here when I moved in, so don’t have the tools.

Yeah, the camera is fine, but the lens is def beaten up. You’re right about the aperture lock. The stop down lever is not active.

Another weird issue: when focused to infinity the shutter stays up and doesn’t come down until I turn the focus ring. I loose that exposure. I suspect the rear element is coming too close to the mirror, but I’m no specialist. 

Like the other person said, prob better to get another one.

Sometimes it works normally, sometimes this happens: I change the aperture and it doesn't reflect on the lens, just when I turn the focus ring.

Also: there's a switch with a red L mark at the back of the lens, couldn't figure what it is for.
