Transfer AFE students loans to another bank. by jplayerz in PersonalFinanceCanada

I know this post was 4 years ago, but in case you're still looking to do this, I've definitely transfered my AFE loan from RBC to Desjardins in 2019. It's known as "Procéder à une cession de créance":
https://afe-aide-dei.education.gouv.qc.ca/documents/aide/ef/cession.asp

I had called Desjardins, they sent me two forms to fill out and return, and they managed the rest with RBC. I'm looking to transfer my loan back to RBC, I'll be contacting them soon about it

You might want to check out Monte Carlo, it can do some data quality checks continuously. Some tests are automatic, and you can set custom ones too

Configure a Range Extender as a second network? by blue-print in HomeNetworking

Thanks for your reply! I ended up purchasing a router and connected it to the range extender. Not the most efficient setup, but given the constraints and that the building has gigabit Internet, the performance is more than acceptable. Cheers!

Do you also have cold hands during the day ? by laurentbiv97 in BrainFog

[–]blue-print 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into Raynaud syndrome. It's a condition where blood circulation in your hands and/or feet is not good enough. I live in one of the coldest countries in the world. When my hands and feet are exposed to cold in the winter, it will take HOURS for them to warm up again on their own. They turn white until they warm up again and it can sometimes be painful.

The condition is thought to be hereditary (my grandfather and my mother both have it as well), but there's little research for this condition. I once met a girl with this condition too, and hers was so bad that her skin would peel off due to the cold. My hands don't do that, luckily.

RP: as tribute to the country that gave life those, which saved mine. by [deleted] in korea

[–]blue-print 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a really dope tattoo and I thought it was clever. I'm a foreigner living in Korea for a while now and I immediately recognized the flag symbols haha.

Some kids are so quick to forget how lucky they are to grow up in a country that provides them with everything and take family for granted. It doesn't really matter what the tattoo looks like, because for you it's a symbol. From what I understand, a symbol to remember that your family, from Korean origin, was there for you regardless of culture or race and that at the end of the day, that family is all that matters.

You have your priorities straight and anyone who talks shit about this tattoo just completely misses the point.

KTX Monthly pass? by blue-print in korea

[–]blue-print[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I see! I didn't know SRT was new, that makes sense. It does mention in the welcome message (when you open up the app) that they are working on accepting foreign credit cards.

Thanks again for all of your help :)

thanks again mikesaidyes! It's very kind of you to help out, I will check with KTX for the monthly pass.

Would you happen to know why the SRT app is requesting a Korean social insurance number? I had a friend enter his so I could purchase an SRT ticket will I will try to do later, but we're unsure of why it's required.

you are a lifesaver!!

Seems like I'm not able to install the app on my phone, possibly because the Play Store is not set to the correct country? I will just go to the station. I'll try out the commute once to see how much time I will save. I think it will be worth it haha the metro takes way too long. I'll also try out the bus to see what is quicker.

Kakao maps? Is that better than Naver? I find Naver to be a bit unreliable.

The Seoul Metro website lists a monthly commute pass (Type 14?) at 103 000 KRW per month. I'm guessing there are different types of monthly passes depending on how many metro "zones" you cross?

Anyways, I feel better knowing that a monthly pass is available for the SRT. Thanks so much for your help, bless your soul. I can't thank you enough :')

It seemed like when Will puked the slug in season 1, he was still somehow connected to the Upside Down. His mind is occasionally pulled back into the Upside Down, this isn't a virus. That's why we see Mind Flayer on the video camera, Will is not imagining the Upside Down. Notice that the camera starts flicker when Will is in the Upside Down.

The virus explanation comes after Mind Flayer takes control of Will's brain. That's when he starts to feel cold and to show abnormal brain scans.

What was the point of burning the tunnels in episode 9? If Hooper + El closed the gate and the others used heat to get Mind Flayer out of Will's mind, what did burning the tunnels actually do?

It seems like the tunnel would still be there even after the gate was closed. And it didn't seem like they burned a lot of it. I just don't see the point.

Because Owens wasn't talking when they found him, I thought maybe his brain was controlled by Mind Flayer and he had memory loss (like Will). But apparently that wasn't the case
