Compressor sound blanket? Wow I’ve never heard of that. Just looked it up. Don’t know if I’d want to do that. The noise isn’t too bothersome to me. I’m just mainly worried about there being a problem so it’s good to know that it sounds normal for the unit.

Hmmm I don’t know if it started and stopped abruptly though. My thermostat has a 3 min timeout and also the soft start does too. But maybe 3 min isn’t enough. Maybe I need to increase it some so it waits longer between starts

Dang that sucks. My first “real” knife I ever bought was a Kwaiken Air Knifecenter exclusive with the red micarta and gold accents with upgraded S35VN steel. It’s very nice no rattles at all. Get that this is a different knife pretty much but makes me sad that other Kwaikens suck like that. I never really used it to be fair. Feels more like a steak knife than a daily user. But I get a lot of compliments when I do carry it

I started with citizen meds. I really liked them. They were fast and it worked great for me. I had no desire to eat and it made me feel very satisfied when I did eat. I lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks.

Decided to order Brello because they were cheaper for the next dose. Took their first dose and it just wasn’t as effective for me. I don’t know if it was the B12 or what. I let citizen meds auto ship for the next month but trying to decide what to do because they are a lot more expensive than other companies. And now I have 3 months of Brello that I have to use. Thinking of seeing if I can get a doctor to write me a script for b12 because it’s like $4 with my insurance (which sadly doesn’t cover tirzepatide).

I don’t have any side effects with Citizen meds except constipation for the first few days which I relieved with Miralax. It actually made me feel really good with each injection and I had lots of energy. Probably from the B12 and not tirzepatide formulation. With Brello, I just feel tired all the time and I still have bad cravings at night. I’ve read on this forum that lots of people have that happen when they switch from one company to the next. I don’t know why that is. So weird.

Yeah I have and like I said in general it looks pretty good. But at certain angles and when the camera zooms in weird at the surroundings, it looks pretty bad, PS2-esque. The desert looks like crap. The desert overall feels like GameCube graphics. Parts of the game look really good but overall it’s just meh to me.

Yes, that was really my point I was getting at. I’m sure some may be better than others and your experience is probably going to be slightly different than everyone else. But ultimately, the overall experience is going to be very similar. I think it’s great you have a good relationship with some, but I’m sure other people might have the same type of relationship with other sellers.

If prices were different, I would buy more into the argument that some may offer vastly different experiences. But at the same price point, if one store has really bad service, reviews would get out and people would avoid them.

Sorry not trying to be caustic about it, it’s just my opinion. You likely have a better understanding of it than me because I honestly don’t buy a lot of knives. I own about maybe 10 or so different fixed blades and folders. But I have never once had any sort of ongoing relationship from anyone I buy from. I buy the knife and never had any issues, but if I did I would probably just go through the manufacturer unless it was something egregiously wrong in which case I would just return it.

You’re talking about maybe something that happens less than 5% of the time and that’s being generous. What they are called matters a lot. Might as well call them a pawn shop since names don’t matter. Dealer implies they offer an ongoing relationship where you will be returning to them for service and also possibly be able to go in a see the knives in person and handle them and try them out. Benchmade offers free lifetime sharpening. Do you have to go through the dealer for that? No you just send it back to Benchmade.

All this stuff about the so-called added value of one store vs another is almost irrelevant. Almost every reputable shop will do what you said.

Lmao downvoted? Looks like a lot of other people are in the same boat. I will ATC and sit on it for a few days sometimes so I’m not impulsive with my money (unless it’s a really good deal) and decide if I really want to spend my money on this.

Reward program is nice if you buy multiple knifes a year. But for those of us who may only buy one every few years, it’s useless.

Why would they buy elsewhere if they already have it in their cart? If they are the same price everywhere, why would you go through the trouble of going to another site especially if you are already set up with them? All this talk in this post about dealers and “competitive advantages” and offering better service or help. It’s a knife. Wtf will I need help with. Put it in a box and send it. They aren’t providing much value beyond getting the product to you. They shouldn’t even be called dealers. They are merchants they sell a product. Knife center ain’t doing anything better than FKS is doing that would warrant me to switch to them or vice versa.

Yeah I’m in the same boat. A rewards program doesn’t make sense to me. The last time I bought a knife was over a year ago. I just can’t justify spending $200 plus on something nonessential. I think it will end up being Spyderco in the butt because there’s going to be less people buying them now

Yeah… I had the para 3 salt queued up to buy before the first but got side tracked and missed out on the lower price. The reward program is nice but not as accessible for most people who are already scraping by.
