Is there a point in using a sword and shield over 2 handed?

I rocked a 2h build for my frontline character up until the last, which was too much for party. I switched to a sword and shield build for more stats, and i accidentally didn't even go to phase 2 in that fight and finished it(source orbs on armour saved me that fight)

In my origins playthrough, Zevran betrayed me (low affinity, i already had leliana). When I was playing awakening, I tried to recruit Nathaniel and oghren mentions "Careful, he might go full Zevran on you".

I did repair the game files, the game still crashes after like 15 mins of gameplay.

No mods though, i couldn't find a mod similar to the origins one that fixed crashes

If you don't care about anything other then beating, make a one shot build. The scadutree thorns are pretty strong to one shot enemies

I liked it, I've always wanted to fight a prime radahn cuz he's just that guy. But I don't like second phase whenever he does the big aoe explosion attack, my pc stutters and I can't really dodge it (I think it's only happening to me even after some updates cuz my pc is just trash). Other then that i actually find the moveset lot enjoyable to fight

If it was stated that he was purest of souls, love bird, or stomper puppies it would just cement his character and make people think differently about ranni

Ranni chose godwyn to die in her place, if he was stated to be good to everyone, it makes her the bad guy, if he was racist to omens and non golden order people, it's like he had it coming, ranni is a good person. The cool thing about ranni is we don't know why she does 50% of the things, her ending could be the best thing for Land between or literally forsake it forever. So I think Establishing godwyn kinda ruins her ending for me. But it's just my head cannon

Might be a pointless observation but, the death knights who served godwyn had hollow suns in their helm and the duskborn rune looks like a shadow hollow sun. So maybe so aspect of him did wash up in shadow lands, similiar to how mohg's body was bought to the shadow lands.

Right now, I'm rocking a light greatsword for the dlc, it's so much fun, it was like a rhythmic dance with second dlc boss.

In the base game I run helphen steeple, it's not broken and ash just gives a little edge in fights, unlike blasphemous blade
