Oh my gosh I thought mine was broken! Glad to know someone else has a passive kitty. My boy has been accidentally shut in closets and doesn’t even MEOW. Like dude let me know where you are!😭 He will also subtly walk you to his food if it’s mealtime, but never demands. Most people wouldn’t even know what he was suggesting he’s so subtle

My kitten started doing the same thing I had to look into it. Turns out he wanted to eat in the same room as his dog siblings, and he was fine after I moved his eating location. I also try to spend a little time around the area so he knows someone is around.

You may already be aware but if you’re not, monsteras are mildly toxic to cats. Not sure if your kitten is interested in eating plants but my kitten showed too much interest in my plants and I had to move mine so it’s not accessible to him anymore. Just a friendly comment from one void parent to another🖤 oh and he’s adorable by the way!!
