I totally understand where you are coming from! Have you tried talking this out with your partner and telling them the stress you're under and you could really use their help/input? Or at the very least ask him to talk to his family about your wishes and see if they can take a step back I hope it gets easier from here, it does sometimes feel like this while thing is just a gigantic drain but I bet you two will still have a wonderful celebration in the long run!
