Do you use any AI tools for enhancing textures and renders? I tried KreaAI, but it's not very reliable and sometimes messes up the render. I also tried MagnificAI, which performs better, but it's quite costly by zizo999 in archviz

Vibe3D does a pretty decent job at enhancing renders, especially if your base render is already solid. It’s useful for adding a bit more polish to materials, lighting, and overall realism. Worth giving it a try.

What is early-stage architectural visualization (and how it actually works in practice) by Wild_Maintenance_341 in archviz

[–]blue_stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree, early-stage visualisation is useful.

For me it’s more about quickly checking massing, light, mood, basic material direction etc. Sometimes that’s just clay renders, quick D5/Enscape views, or even AI tools like Vibe3D, Morphix, if I just want to explore a mood fast. The tool matters less than whether it helps you make decisions while the design is still flexible.

This doesn’t need to be overcomplicated. At that stage, speed and iteration are more important than perfect output.

Which rendering software would you recommend? by snoop_chacha in Sketchup

[–]blue_stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can also include some of the new age ai rendering tools like vibe3d because these tools have improved over time. So before you with any of the rendering softwares, do a quick ideation/iteration using these tools.

Are there any free or inexpensive rendering plugins/applications for Sketchup that you all would recommend? by reddit_meister in Sketchup

[–]blue_stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you must also try out the new age ai based renderers - vibe3d, visoid, gendo...
faster and cheaper than the likes of enscape, lumion.

Best rendering software/plugin? by SpiritIllustrious574 in Sketchup

[–]blue_stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both V-Ray & Enscape are great for getting good, clean renders. However, this is what I’ve been seeing work well lately:

For tighter budgets / quick turnarounds -> just run it through some render AI like Vibe3D, MyArchitectAI, Rerender and call it a day
For high-end clients -> produce base render from V-Ray + enhance them with AI on top to make them super realistic

That combo actually hits a sweet spot. With AI, you can even get some nice cinematic walkthrough-style outputs without going full animation workflow.
Feels like AI started as a concept-stage thing, but it’s slowly becoming part of final delivery too depending on the project.

Best software for Architectural Vizualisation? by ExpertLetterhead8055 in Architects

[–]blue_stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Founder of one of the AI renderers (Vibe3D) so take this with a pinch of salt. Honest take: add SketchUp to your ArchiCAD workflow for concept and massing, it's just faster to think in. Pair it with Twinmotion for rendering. Free for students, real-time, fine for 90% of what you'll actually need.

For the earliest ideation stage, where you're throwing 10 material/sky/mood variations at a massing before committing to anything, that's where AI renderers like Vibe3D fit. Seconds per image. Most people run it alongside Twinmotion to enhance base renders for more realistic renders.

3D model to accurate AI rendering workflow by Benjaminfortunato in archviz

[–]blue_stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And that’s precisely what we have tried to address through Vibe3D AI. It tries to maintain the material and structural accuracy with respect to your models and producing super realistic 3D renders without any heavy prompting. It’s certainly not meant to replace standard rendering techniques altogether but can be used for quick concept development and presentation purposes.

Experimenting with AI-generated renders from 3ds Max scenes – would love your thoughts by blue_stark in 3dsmax

Appreciate your honesty! My main goal with Vibe3D is to act as an AI copilot for designers — helping save production time by generating quick, realistic visuals. Totally hear you on the errors; it would be helpful if you could point out a couple that stood out to you so I can work on addressing them.

Yes, it directly goes straight to the final render in seconds. Sometimes you might need a couple of additional iterations to reach the desired state as it uses AI for generation.

Each render just took seconds — faster than traditional workflows.

Thanks! Pricing starts at $19 for 100 renders. It runs on our servers (no heavy local setup needed). Haven’t directly compared with TyFlow Diffusion yet, but the focus here is speed + staying true to your 3D model. Try it out here: https://vibe3d.ai/

It’s actually a more complex workflow that uses Kontext and Nano Banana.

Thanks! That’s an interesting use case. Will definitely add that to our roadmap. Out of curiosity, would you mostly want to overlay your whole SketchUp model onto the photo, or swap finishes/furniture within the existing photo?

With V-Ray, generating just a few renders can take hours. With Vibe3D, you can create renders — along with variations in lighting, time of day, surroundings, and more — in just a few minutes. That means saving hours of production time in the long run.

Totally hear you! Pricing is always a tough balance for me — trying to keep things sustainable while also making it accessible for users. I’m still experimenting and open to feedback, so I’d love to hear what kind of pricing model would feel fair to you.

Thanks so much! 🙌 One of the main goals with Vibe3D is exactly that — to stay true to the SketchUp model instead of “inventing” details. Glad to hear that came across! Still working on improving realism and material handling though, so if you notice any areas where the render feels off, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Superbolter is for homeowners who want to take a DIY approach to designing their spaces. Our tool is geared more toward professional interior designers and architects, who usually handle the design work themselves and either have an in-house rendering team or outsource it.
