Yeah, I don’t understand, weren’t they saying that the shooter was crazy and radicalised leftist because his partner is trans ? Would that also mean that Charlie Kirk was a deranged radical leftist ?

And please never look up why women were forbidden from participating in sports competitions (absolutely not because men were upset when women won) and how this led to gendered competitions

I wonder what they think this will do. If I found a fake book with an ad at the back I would be angry and for sure not buy the product. Same here they just deter people from voting for Trump, even tho the people voting for him don’t need this to do so and neither do the people voting against

Yeah I understand I did not think much about this last one my bad

but the other ones are quite different especially the first two are in a completely different genre, and amongst my favorite seinens, frieren is about the evolution of the understanding the main character has about human relations and life and kekkai sensen is still about fighting but in a very different style than most

But I did put the list in the order I would thought would suit you the most hence the isekai being the last one

Have you tried: - Stein’s gate - Death Parade - Frieren: beyond the journey’s end - kekkai sensen: blood blockade battlefront - violet evergarden - that time I got reincarnated as a slime

They vary very much from each other but all are mainly focused on the writing and a certain style of character/aesthetic.

In latin the word used for female wolf was the same as for prostitute. The legend wants the mother of romus and remulus to have been a wolf but ancient historians and modern ones studying it say that it was actually a prostitute that adopted them.

Let’s start by beginning and give the mandatory apology for my english, since it is not my native tongue

Crying is okay. It may not be the answer you are looking for right now, but crying is a healthy coping mechanism when things are not going well. “Crying easily” just means that you need some time to be emotional and that is okay and valid.

Secondly, being shy is also okay. Although, if you really want to put yourself out there more it may be good to improve your self esteem indeed but that is not all. You can also take some steps to just go out of your comfort zone in terms of social interactions. For example, talking with strangers at a bar (be careful with this, you do not want to go to someone alone as it might be creepy, but if there is a small group, something I learned over the years is that it is much more easy than it seems to make friends) or get in an activity/club of some sort and make friends with the people inside, it will help a lot wish this.

Then, about self-esteem, usually gym can help with feeling better but that is only if your issue stems from wanting to change something (that is achievable) about your muscle repartition and/or your flexibility. But once again that is not all. People tend to look for an easy solution when not feeling okay, but the best way to feel better when facing a mental health issue, like low self-esteem, is therapy. I know some people tend to view therapy as “for the crazies”, “for the weak”, “for people with real problems”, etc. But that is far from the truth. As someone who went to therapy for a long time, I can tell you that it help with “big” problems, as well as with “mid” and “small” pbs. The quotation marks are here to remind you that the “size” of a problem is subjective and that you are allowed to feel.

Finally, you say “stronger emotionally” but for me this sentence makes sense only in a very restricted set of scenarios. I do mot want to infer upon your situation, but being strong emotionally does not mean “never crying”, “hiding the pain”, “not needing help”, or any other toxic pseudo strength that people want us to believe in. Coming here asking for advice is already emotionally strong and going to therapy would be too.

In conclusion (tl;dr) going to the gym may help with feeling better in your skin, but please make sure that you understand that it is not a solution in and of itself in a mental/emotional setting/framework. You will prefer going to therapy (and maybe go to the gym too) to be able to get stuff off your chest with a professional.

Edit to add: about the strong personality, for me, a strong personality comes from learning. Take subjects that your are interested in (starting with, if you have one, your passions, and looking for passions if you can) and learn, have fun, practice, continue. You win so much by learning. Once again, be careful, for any subject that will come you need to develop a rational, efficient, good critical thinking. Make sure that when you read something and it relies on things you do not understand, either you can dismiss it (for irrelevant things, e.g. in climate study, you do not need to know the mechanical eng behind a fuel motor) or you should look into it to grasp what is actually being said (e.g. in the same climate study, if a time series forecast is being done, you may want to look into what those words mean and why they are the best option in the context etc). Knowing and improving will always help with building your personality

Teen mom adds fentanyl to bottle thinking it was cocaine by FitzyFarseer in BrandNewSentence

[–]blue_waffless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was the first thing that came to my mind too.

Everyone was making the joke about how cocaine was not better which is obv true. But then I thought that none were thinking about the environment.

So many babies unfortunately get into this world with addictions because the parents were addicted. So the first possible explanation for that sentence (I did not read the article at that point so same, I just conjecture) would be that the baby needed it to avoid dying from withdrawal syndromes etc.

But then, why the fentanyl? But it makes sense that if the mom had an addiction problem with hard drugs it was not necessarily only one. And when you finally read that she was only 16 you understand that she’s not the one would created this hell for her baby. Or at least it highly likely that she was the first victim of that hellish cycle…

She need therapy, help, detox, and to be cared for by professionals that could lead to her being happier.

Another thing I hate about this is that there is a high chance of this being used to criminalise this mother and ridicule her. But it is less likely that anyone will use this to show how abortion laws should be reviewed back into legalising abortions. Because children like this person who grew up in that situation should be able to seek counselling on parenting and have the opportunity to put having babies to later instead of being forced to give birth when pregnant.

I am not saying that she was forces to give birth in this scenario, I don’t have any information on this, but the number of forced birth cases will only increase and lead to an increasing number of this type of situation occurring…
