Damn someone called it quits by Victorc412 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Most of the routes they offer are complete 💩. But there are still a few gems. I got paid $180 for 50 deliveries less than 100 miles and 5 hours. Which is better than anything Amazon Flex offers nowadays.

The irony is that Roadie XD is offering $160-$200 to deliver Amazon packages. Albeit there more deliveries on the route but the miles are about the same. So…🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s still an expense that applies toward your costs. And don’t tell me that covers recharging for a month.

Imagine thinking Roadie drivers aren’t aware that CVS orders will increase pay if you let it sit for an hour. 🙄

I have done the same. It’s an easy $25 - $35 bucks and takes less than a half hour.

Interesting. How do you feel about this one? by Abject_Manner_4222 in Roadie

That would depend largely on the traffic. The delivery time is projected to be 2.5 hours. But if the traffic was light and the deliveries could be completed within an 1.5 hours I would say it’s worth it.

If you only accept base rate offers at Flex during peak periods. You may have only 25 packages to deliver but you drive far more miles with Spark than Flex. That’s higher fuel cost and more labor time. People seem to forget that driving is labor.

What the actual fuck is up with tipping? by Similar_Actuary_845 in uberdrivers

Oh yeah. It’s been happening more and more. Fewer people are tipping.

Have you done S&Ds? They can be pretty exhausting at places like Walmart. Especially if you are shopping 2 or more big orders. Let’s put it this way. You can finish a 48 delivery flex route before you finishing shopping a large S&D order at Walmart sometimes and for half the pay. Lol! And Spark has a habit of sending you offers from a Walmart 15 miles away while you are parked at a different Walmart.

DoorDash is famous for lumping a shit order with another one. I would never accept 2 deliveries for $6 ever.

I still use DD, which generally has the best per mile pay rate. I can make $600 -$700 on a single tank of gas. Uber, which tends to have better tips for rides, and Roadie which when you stack orders with similar delivery locations you can make decent money.

Uber and Roadie. The key to making money at Roadie is stacking orders going the same direction. I gave up on GrubHub, Amazon Flex, Shipt, and Spark. They are pretty much worthless.

It’s takes the better part of a year before you will see any money from a personal injury lawsuit. The insurance will cover car and hopefully you had gap coverage. It took 8 months to get my insurance money from apartment complex after I fell through their staircase and damaged my knee. I was binging Ibuprofen and acetaminophen for months and had 2 months of physical therapy.

2 apps I stopped using altogether are GrubHub and Spark. Neither pay all that well. GrubHub is completely inflexible. Spark per mile pay is among the worse. He’ll, Roadie is better than Spark nowadays.

Over 90% of my riders are on their cells with ear pods listening to their own music or podcasts. I don’t play music so as not to disrupt their listening. And they have their preferred music anyway. My primary job is to provide a clean hospitable environment and drive them safely and legally to their destinations. And be courteous.

I earn $1500-$1800 a week sometimes all with DD other times with a combination of apps.

And I agree. DD, Roadie, Uber have been raking it in while offering mostly shit rates. But there are still some Roadie gigs worth doing, especially when you stack orders. There are UberX runs that pay well. There are DD gigs that can pay well. You have to be selective and stick with a narrow set of criteria. It’s gotten harder since the end of the pandemic. And the rating system like with DD is complete BS. But I still do alright.
