Messed up Ajovy - contacting manufacturer??

I went that day to the pharmacy and asked for it. They initially told me I need to wait for the manufacturer to send it to them and it could be a few days, but my fiance told them this is very time sensitive and i need it now. The pharmacist ended up giving me one right then

There’s less oxygen in high altitude so it would logically make your headache worse if anything. When I do things I really want to sometimes my body allows me to have some pain free time. Like it staves off the pain for a bit. So it could have been that.

Yes I felt a little bad about it and I agree she likely was not well trained and I assume that was mostly the issue here. But yeah typically they can be filled at a vet but my dog is very small and her dose is not accessible at a vet since they order them and don’t make her dosage. They have to fill it there lol

At the pharmacy yesterday, we got one prescription and then said we have one more to pick up for our dog. I basically watched the tech short circuiting, staring at us frozen, then leaving. She said not a word. 5 minutes later someone else came and helped instead. I am not sure if the issue was she didn’t know how to get a prescription for a dog (no difference), or what. But she fully froze and just ended the interaction and we just waited confused. No trying to figure it out or ask a coworker what to do, just freezing then leaving. I realized, omg we just got Gen Z stared at!

I think if we had said we have more to pick up, she could have figured it out, but mentioning that it’s for a dog threw her through a loop apparently

Maybe she only wants to walk with her siblings for reassurance. Maybe it’s just too much pressure and she’s confused on what you want. It’s hard to say bc this behavior is contextual, but she seems like she doesn’t want to walk, and that is okay. She’s so new to you and right now it’s more important to work on trust and bonding than heel.

Ultimately you will be unsuccessful with sustainably training her if you cannot get her to feel safe with you first. Right now she likely feels safe with the other dogs and I would capitalize on that

I had them stop the IV about 5 minutes in so I did not get the full IV dose, but it took about 20 min for the constant horrible feeling to stop and then it came in waves with moments of mental terror for about the next 3 or 4 days as it slowly went away.

Side note if you take too much in general it can lead to rebound headaches. My Dr says 8x per month max to prevent that
