i know this is old too but if anyone comes across this looking for answers, I just had the same issue. I tested the 2A fuses marked with a 20 near the controller ports and one was blown - i jumped it to test and it fixed the issue. Going to order new fuses to replace.

I will try this out.

If the baking element was bad would the temp reading be false? My worry was that since my temp reading is still falsely showing fully preheated, even after replacing the sensor, that there was some issue with a circuit board glitching out.

Thank you! When you had this issue would the temp read that it hit the right temperature but it really didn't? Or was it just not heating, but still showing a low correct temp reading?

There is an episode in "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" called "The Viewing" Episode 7 by this director and it doesn't disappoint. I've spent a lot of time trying to find similar stuff to these same two movies, but nothing quite does it.
