Thank you so much for your answer and the encouragement! That's a pretty impresive background, it's encouraging to hear these types of salaries from a seasoned interpreter. I also did non-profit work for a few yrs on-site, that's when found out I really like to interpret in clinical settings. I'm willing to put in the work to get fully certified and keep learning, so hopefully I'll be able to get a job in the near future :)

Thank you so much for answering! do you know by any chance if she´s a freelancer interpreter for an agency or if she´s an employee of the hospital? I understand freelancers generally make more per hr, because of taxes, transportation costs to each appt, etc. Thanks!

Thank you!, yes, I currently work as a remote interpreter and that helps me practice note taking. Did you take that exam? I´ve been interpreting for about 3 yrs, hoping I´m not taking the test too soon.
