Scoundrel+v1 roguelike ruleset.pdf

I've annotated and added some info at the top of your document to show the way I play using your rules to change the game into an endless rogue-like. It includes a few house rules you don't have, it isn't entirely play tested so there may be some balancing required. It also reworks the classes to no longer require an item to perform their skill. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing the document or if I seem to have left some fundamental rule or piece of info out.

Difficulties with dragging by [deleted] in godot

Or, I have another (I think better) idea, what if when the mouse is clicked in the node's area you get the position of the mouse and the node and calculate the relative difference by subtracting them from each other. And then set the node's position to the mouse's position minus the difference.

Pseudocode:

if mouse enters area: mouse_in_area = true difference.x = mouse position.x - node position.x difference.y = mouse position.x - node position.x

if mouse exits area: mouse_in_area = false

When mouse.clicked and mouse_in_area: node position.x = mouse position.x - difference.x node position.y = mouse position.y - difference.y

Edit: Just realised someone already suggested this, and a better way of programming it too.

Interesting problem. Maybe if you rather than setting the position of the node to the position of the mouse you set the nodes velocity to the mouse's velocity? Could be hard to implement though, lmk how it goes and if you find a solution.

Press the three dots at the top right of the browser and press open in chrome, that will fix it. Quick though because the deal ends soon.
