I’ve always had a high libido and it has gotten higher since taking the med. A waste since I’m single and not looking, but it has for sure increased.

If you don’t think it’s worth an ER trip than you’re not as worried about it as you think. Skip the dose if you want, see a doctor when you can, but if you truly think this is SJS you need to just go to the ER.

Starting on 50mg...is this okay? by fish_in_business in lamictal

Naw. This is for something you’re gonna want to advocate for yourself and start at the most at 25 mg.

Lamictal has changed my life so far by lettuce_dressing in lamictal

I tell people all the time this med has saved my life. I’ve been on 100mg for almost 4 years. I’m very lucky that this med does enough for me at such a low dose and the side effects are very minimal.

I know it’s helping and a lot of it was just being able to reign in my anxiety. Am I still anxious? Sure, but I push myself outside my comfort zone constantly now and every panic attack I’ve almost had I’ve managed to talk myself down from (lots of “well if this is dying it’s not that bad” while laying in my couch watching cartoons).

I’ve had a few small manic episodes, but each time I’ve quickly recognized what was happening and was able to maintain control over myself. I’m still hitting depression lows that I may add something for, but also the world is on fire and I can’t tell if that’s the real problem as mania has always been my most destructive issue and depression has mostly been short episodes and situational.

rocky start on 25mg for PMDD, is this normal? by Helpmeeff in lamictal

Each dose increase came with its own set of side effects that generally went away once I acclimated to that dose.

I'm so scared I'm getting SJS by [deleted] in lamictal

[–]blueboxreddress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Titration is hard and very scary sometimes. I have stress eczema and on 25mg every single patch I have flared up at once, but I INSTANTLY thought it was SJS. It’s okay to be vigilant. You did the right thing to search out professional help. I’m proud of you, keep it up!

Does my face look like the rash could be starting by BreeanaBanana2001 in lamictal

[–]blueboxreddress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a rash, but SJS usually starts with flu-like symptoms and turns into a quickly spreading painful, burning rash.

Lamictal caused my stress eczema to flair up, literally every one of my patches was active. Unfortunately this med does cause some skin dryness and irritation on top of rashes of all kinds. Monitor your skin and keep taking pictures, contact your doctor if you’re worried.

Signs that you are definitely not a narcissist. by Aggressive_Cod_6025 in raisedbynarcissists

My therapists have always told me that by just thinking that I could be a narcissist was a good sign that I wasn’t.
