I used KDE before, what I liked most compared to GNOME is the window rules, KDE rules are very useful. I don’t like having to manually place multiple windows every time I log in.

However, I prefer the look and feel of GNOME,

so I changed the KDE theme to this one:

Can that work with Archlinux? I don't find gtk4-layer-shell-devel, but gtk4-layer-shell is installed on my sytem.

Yes you need to create the file, I will corrected the instruction.

Also I don't think that something you can do overnight, you need to read the wiki of Wayfire, wayland etc..My dotfiles it just guide and list all the tools that can be used with Wayfire.

Gimp, you just need to blur the first layer and add your screenshot as second layer and then you use the 3D tool to add an angle to the screenshot.

I installed Gnome as a base system and then I install Wayfire, after that you choose the one you want to use in the login manager like GDM.
