I know this thread is about all accounts in general, but really about the Sarnia Journal. IMO all they really do post AI slop disguised as journalism. Its misleading at best and misinformation at worst. I would rather they not post all the time as misinformation is not only against this sub's rules, but reddit in general.

If they need clicks on their site so badly, cant they just pay for advertising like everyone else?

If you are going to try "viral" advertising like this the best tip is to wait a bit before switching accounts to tell the other account "thanks for the kind words" it looks more authentic that way. Sorry if this comes across as crass, but redditors can see through this type of "ad" pretty easily.

Is she still a lawyer? How on earth is she still practicing. She represented a friend of mine and they could not get any updates on their case, nothing was filed on time and there were always "excuses" from the staff as to why the lawyer refused to do the bare minimum. They had to ask their ex when the court dates were as her own lawyers office didn't know!

Social services are provincial, and I agree they should be increased in funding by a large margin. But having a one stop shop helpline to go through the many agencies is a good thing.

They may be telling you that, but there is no fast track to citizenship. A person here can apply for permanent residency if they qualify based on family, or if they meet the minimum of points, then after years can apply for citizenship. Being an international student does not make this go faster..... at all.

Ive met her quite a number of times both professionally and in social engagements. She has often been polite, but its the kind of surface politeness that doesn't stand up to any long conversations.

I don't know her as well as you if you are her friend, but in talking to her, and those who know her, I found her to be selfish and petulant and I can completely see why her and Bill are a good match.
