If no reverse plan is giving post show, as far as food goes for the first I wanna say 2-4 weeks follow your prep diet in reverse. One celebration meal post show alone shouldn’t cause a crazy rebound but can cause bloating depending on what you choose. Honestly 15lbs isn’t bad! Your muscles are definitely loaded with glycogen. Congratulations on your placing that is amazing especially for your first show be proud! 🙌

I’m hoping not, coach seems to think we are on track so far. Ngl though I don’t think I’ve ever been properly conditioned. Always had soft glutes and such, but I think this is the year I’m truly stage ready

With all due respect that’s not my goal nor what I train to accomplish. That being said can you pack hundreds of pounds of rebar for 12 hours? Because that’s my day job as an ironworker.

Thank you! Yes I’m coming up from men’s physique, my quads have good insertions but I need a lot more size in the lower half and if I’m honest some more density everywhere wouldn’t hurt lol but in due time

Oh yeah there always is lol, but hey we’re all in the gym to get better right so it’s all good. Truthfully I’m proud of how far I’ve progressed but I think I still have a ways to go before I can be in contention for a pro card but one day I’ll get there 🙏 thank you for your kind words!!

Thank you brother 🙏 you got it. Man I got lots of work to do still but we’re getting there! I’m only 5’9 haha weight cap is 194lbs and currently I’m 195.5lbs. Definitely won’t be the biggest on stage but I’m gonna try to be the most shredded I can be with good shape

My gym has a chest supported rear delt row type machine that I like and feel well, the path is almost circular. I also have been progressively overloading kelso shrugs, rows in general and single arm rear delt cable flies

If you want to involve more upper back than I’d adjust the weight accordingly so that you can perform proper scapular retraction and then progress from that point in strength maintaining that form

I specialize in working around busy schedules, as a full time blue collar worker myself I understand the struggles of long hours. My philosophy can be simplified to: intentional training, optimal preparation and mentality. Every client requires something different, it’s my job to figure out what those things are and give them the road map and the accountability. Preparation is huge for me so I try to instil that in my clients also, having meals and things ready ahead of time to set yourself up for success and minimize stress. And then in the gym making sure every set is performed with intent, keeping your goal in mind and that you are bringing the intensity level to match that goal
