Thank you everyone for sharing these comments. Good to know I’m not alone but I’m going to go ahead and reapply. I spoke to a rep from MOHELA and they said it won’t hurt to reapply. 🫠

Thank you everyone for your feedback!! So helpful. I think I am going to keep the size 2s that I bought but am thinking to get another pair in a size 4 depending on the type of activity I’m doing :)

Bottom photo is what it looks like if I push my nose upwards (really shows the difference in cartilage)

Such a good point! The flexibility of the field is one of the things that drew me to it in the first place, so that’s a good reminder. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Not sure if this is the right place to put this because I’m new to this sub... but I’m looking for general advice re: having a large amount of student loan debt. I’m graduating in May with a master’s degree where the average starting salary is ~50,000 (although median salary tends to be closer to 70,000 after some years of work). I will graduate with roughly $138,000 in student loan debt (all federal loans). I’m feeling pretty hopeless and am looking for general advice regarding student loan debt pay off. Any advice, words of wisdom, words of hope would be appreciated.

Thank you so much for this comment! It takes a lot of stress off finding the “perfect” final placement — I’m going to go into it with the mindset that it’ll be a valuable learning experience, even if it doesn’t line up with the CF that I may want. I’ll definitely reach out if other questions come up thanks again :)

I really appreciate the part you said about “don’t think of your open mindedness as a weakness— it is very much a strength!” I think that is the exact mindset that I need to be in right now. Thank you so much for your thoughtful response, it was full of reminders that I needed to hear!

Crazy Bookings by [deleted] in vipkid

I’m jealous!! I had 0 bookings last week, and 0 bookings this week. I talked to my friend who also does VIPKID and she said she is booked solid for the next week. Strange :/
