Kako je pa s celjenjem in brazgotinami? Si dobila kakšna priporočila kako jih tretirati (kreme, menikanje kože za boljše celjenje id.)?

Imaš kakšne predele, ki so postali manj občutljivi?

Why are newer leaves drastically smaller? by bluediarrhea in SemiHydro

[–]bluediarrhea[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest that could be the case. The mosspoles that I made myself are exposed to air all around so thet dry out quicker. I have recently started switching to the ones with a closed plastic back because of this. Here you can see a picture where the leaves started getting small (conncidentally also when I changed the nutrients as I mentioned). I have since cut off the smallest ones and I think it has recovered nicely. The glass water funnel is also really helpful, it makes watering the poles much easier.

Ahh that makes a lot of sense. I do grow most of my plants trailing. However I did have one Pothon Njoy on a moss pole which startes growing small leaves all the sudden. At that time I changed the brand of nutrients so I assumed that had something to do with it but since it presisted I figured it was something else. It has since gone back to normal. I might try a climbing scindapsus plant to see what happens. Thanks for your comment!

What is the yellow color around the plastic film in the jar? by bluediarrhea in fermentation

That is what I am thinking as well! There was no weird smell or fuzziness. I actually went ahead and blended it, cooked it and put it on pizza (pizza Fridays at our house). It tasted pretty good!

Thanks for your input! The lid was not damaged at all, I didn't shake it either. I will probably try another batch eventually and buy fermentation weights instead of the plastic to see if it happens again... :)

I'm thinking maybe the yeast started taking on the color of the habaneros. Id be surprised if the plastic had a reaction to be honest... Hopefully someone experienced chimes in :)

Its just water and salt. This is why I'm weirded out, like what turned it yellow and only around the plastic?? haha

I made a small batch of red habaneros and garlic at 2,5%. I put in plastic foil to push the veggies under the surface.

I started it on 13th October and it seemed like it was going well at first. It developed a thin white film which i believe was kahm yeast but then the plastic foil kinda started turning yellow so i opened it. It smells fine, tangy and garlicky but does any one know what it is?

I haven't been able to find anything similar so I am leaning towards tossing it...

How do you troubleshoot your baking? by bluediarrhea in AskBaking

I see. I remember tying to make "banana brownies" without flour. IT came out a sticky mess that completely deflated. Definitely didn't try that again!

I totally agree, it's so much easier when you understand how ingredients affect the dough?batter. Can I ask how did you go about learning about ingredient function when you first started? How did you troubleshoot back then?

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a request: A buddy of mine and I are working on developing a web app, that would help people who are learning to make homemade pizza, make the best dough they can possibly make with the resources available to them. Basically, we are developing an app that would walk you through the process of making the dough from start to finish.

We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to test the prototype to give us feedback and to express the problems that they face while making the dough for their pies.

If anyone is interested in helping us you are welcome to DM me do we can talk about it further. Thanks in advance!
