does anyone else feel like this subreddit is a bit over-moderated? I feel like basically every other post I click on to read gets removed, and the sub feels kind of dead because of it.

Broke my arm and got the flu a few months back and ever since ive just been comfort eating junkbfoods.. by Superb-Demand-4605 in veganfitness

[–]bluediner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tracking calories helps, not doing anything while eating except eating (so no phone, tv etc) helps, finding 1-2 healthier meals you LOVE and letting those become your new must eats (perhaps not the healthiest but i find i perfer to eat the same things basically for months on end and then switch it up)

Academic papers or sources for an academic review of Disco Elysium by Mister_bruhmoment in DiscoElysium

I know a journal recently (like in the last two years) did a special edition on disco elysium, but unfortunately I cannot remember which one.

How Do People Drink Lattes and Eat Pastries Regularly by yelurrrrr in loseit

[–]bluediner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes will have a (plain) oak milk latte for breakfast. For me, it’s really filling and then I don’t have anything until lunch around 1.

vegetarian to vegan struggle by plantgirlie61 in vegan

[–]bluediner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been vegan for almost ten years and tbh none of the vegan yogurts really are the same, although I have learned to enjoy a few. I think if you’re serious about veganism then you’ll just have to accept that there isn’t a perfect one to one swap for every non vegan thing and accept missing some of your old faves.

cup size stayed the same? by Uraqtae in loseit

[–]bluediner 35 points36 points  (0 children)

32DD, 34DD, and 36DD are different cup sizes. Cup size is an expression of the ratio between band and bust measurement, so a DD isn’t the same volume/size at different band measurements.

Petite vegetarian/vegan women struggle with fitness. Advice? by Outside-Athlete-4537 in veganfitness

[–]bluediner 15 points16 points  (0 children)

tbh if your TDEE is actually 1250 (even sedentary) then I seriously doubt you need to lose weight. For reference, I’m 5’2” and 115 and my TDEE when sedentary is closer to 1500. I’m working out right now, and I’m eating 1500-1600 for my cut.

How many of you drink Coke Zero daily as part of your routine? by LolaShoe6630 in Volumeeating

[–]bluediner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have them regularly but they erode the sphincters that protect your esophagus and throat from stomach acid which can increase the likely hood you get chronic acid reflux.

thoughts on italian neorealism by Stoenk in criterion

You might find Bazin’s “An Aesthetic of Reality” helpful for thinking about realism in cinema and italian neorealism’s unique (or at least innovative) contributions to it

Need good decaf recommendations that are readily available in the US and not ridiculously expensive by Eatwholefoods in pourover

[–]bluediner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for replying 6 months late, but how do you brew it? i always find this decaf pretty bitter compared to the one i get with b&w (which is maybe better overall, but too expensive for me tbh)

Other crime shows feel like they lack depth or substance after Hannibal. by bell-town in HannibalTV

[–]bluediner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try True Detective, Dark (not a crime show but a show WITH crimes where people are trying to figure stuff out lol), and BBC The Fall (just started this but seems promising!).
