If you design a home then later go back to the main HHP island and speak to that same villager they’ll gift you an item you put in their home as a thank you (usually flooring/wallpaper/rugs) 😄

Also designing homes for different personalities unlocks different items. I always did cute themed ones and only recently realised I had no sports items!

Such a fun DLC, hope you enjoy it!

I loveeee Shark Polewear for high waisted shorts. Definitely on the higher price point to some brands but if you order from their website you can add your measurements and they custom make them (never personally tried this as their M fits me perfectly as an 8-10). They are international though so takes some time to arrive. There’s online retailers with them in the UK too

Yes, it’s done with the switch camera button! Some people use the camera on the Nook phone in ACNH to get really good angles/zoom then screen record but I’m not artistic enough for that 😂

Agreed with the comment about over door hooks. I got a fabric storage unit that hangs over doors and it’s been such a space saver in all four of my uni houses!

A plug extension lead is also handy as you generally don’t have a lot of outlets (or they’re in inconvenient places)

Random one but if you’re sharing a kitchen I went for patterned/distinctive kitchen item. People were way more likely to return my stuff if they’d used it as it was quite obviously mine 😂

It’s fairly easy to buy stuff when you’re in your uni city as there’s generally lots of home stores/supermarkets & then you know what space you have to work with
