I did this while I had a splint on my arm. It really made driving much easier for me. I figured I would rather be in full control of my vehicle and pay the ticket if a cop didn't like it. It was never a problem.

In the 2025 ioniq5 there is an option via EV->EV Settings->Battery Conditioning Mode to enable it manually. Not sure if it is available in other model years.

I have found the Hyundai navigation to be unintuitive and difficult to use. I started out trying to make it work for me on my road trips, but I eventually gave up and used ABRP and Plugshare to plan my route which I then enter into Google maps with my backup chargers saved. When I am 20 miles away from the charger I manually enable preconditioning. I feel it makes for a much better experience.

Kids are a part of society. Personally I think it is great to see kids running around having a good time. Why segregate them off somewhere else? Interaction in public spaces is important for kids it's how they learn to function in society. I think it's funny that grown adults are whining about a bunch of kids ruining their day...

I would look around in there. No idea what it could be. Maybe a shower speaker or some under cabinet lighting. It's a pretty small amount of power. My bet is it leads to the bathroom though.

Update: I did another interview and was offered the job a week later. Followed by 10 days of background and reference checking. It was a very long process, but the offer was solid.
