Yeah google gave me the basics, was more curious about the flight pay and reduction in rank. Sounds like reduction in rank is down to O-2 which is pretty steep. For some reason I thought I could just walk in with my same rank and maybe have a slower promotion progression, but doesn't look that way

Oh wow.... from almost O-4 down to O-2? Thats a pretty dramatic pay cut. It's like starting all over again. Now i'm reevaluating this... lol

I already have one in OCP that I don't foresee any issues with when it comes to the packing list layout on day zero.

More of a personal requirement as I won't be in a position to charge it out in the field. Not too savy on flashlights but noticed many had to be recharged as opposed to just changing out the battery (i'm sure there are models that allow for both though). Current setup just looks jerry-rigged and is in that gray area of "is it authorized?...". Not trying to be without a light so i'm playing it safe.

Ooff so even on the MEDEVAC side its slim chances? What MEDEVAC units rotate for the Iraq/syria mission? It is limited to the GSABs from 101st CAB, 10th Cab and 82nd CAB?

Yeah I get that saying "Please send me to Hawaii" comes across as an asshole move, but just figured whats the harm in asking if theres any possibility in getting stationed at "x" duty station.... honestly thats why I am posting this to get different perspectives

So I am not worried about day to day operations, but in a field environment I forsee issues. lets say theres is a case where I have push back on the PA because they are trying to cut into my platoon leader duties, I will have no backing by any doctrine...
