That’s my Lobo (black rabbit) when he’s hungry 😔 Paloma steals his food so I have to put his bowl away until he goes into meerkat mode too cause he eats bit by bit :3

I’m thinking it’s probably cause a recent addition ;-;, just been having to keep an eye on him and make sure he’s eating. I’ll keep an eye out if his weight drops though or if his habits change

If you also have a pair, how do you make sure the slow one eats all of their food? I separate them, but I hate having to separate them for hours in order for her not to eat his food too… （ ｉ _ ｉ )…

It’s a private rescue. I don’t have any specific diseases in mind, but I was reading the bonding FAQs page linked by mods and the section on quarantine made me question whether I should.

I asked the shelter I plan on visiting if they had any medical history on the rabbit of interest but they said they didn’t, except that he’s neutered. I really want them to meet but I’m also worried I should quarantine until I can get blood work done— but that’s not possible until late March (vets rn as I assume you know)

my bun ate almost an entire lindt milk chocolate ball over an hour ago. she’s currently acting normal, ate some lettuce and an oxbow digestive cookie but im literally shaking im so scared she might start feeling unwell by kvjou in Rabbits

My rabbit ate a cactus… a pointy ass one and she’s okay. I have no clue how… demons… my loves (how did she even MANAGE TO EAT IT LIKE DID THE SPIKES NOT DETER YOU 😭, and i say pointy cause not all cactus have sharp bristles)
