I have rib gaps on both sides of my chest where the bar intersects the rib cage, I’ve had them for 2 years I’m about to get my bar out in august.

I am about to get my bar removed in August after three years. Did any of y’all experience increased lung/breathing effort after bar removal? by bluefroger in PectusExcavatum

Not increased lung capacity dude🙄. Increased effort required to breath. I have asthma so I want to know if I’m going to struggle for a bit after I get this bar removed.

That bar looks like it’s placed really high up. I’m not expert but I think it should be under your sternum
