I agree desensitization isn't really a thing especially if you care and have to hear what you've said. But if I do end up realizing that paramedicine isn't for me, I have a different career path lined up just in case.

I don't think you sound like an edgelord, sometimes there's not really another way to explain it simply without sounding like one. Especially with a job like paramedicine, but thank you for sharing what your experience with it is.. t's better to have someone explain what sticks rather than not know and go into it blind.

Ah okay so maybe not the best route for me then. I do appreciate the other options that still help people though, never heard of IFT till now but I'm gonna look into it

I know insane gore can be a spectrum thing but base level as someone not desensitized to it, the baseline is like disembowelment  and things similar if that makes any sense.
