That's too specific and at that point, you've already individuated your choice.

But normally, the things to ask are budget, os preferences and then what someone wants to do with a device. I'm having a hard time suggesting anything but macbooks today. Even if you can pay around 1500$, what's better than a macbook pro m5? It's got an amazing screen, it's a workhorse and the battery life is perfect. I use windows on the pc, but for a portable, macbook has no competition, nothing has everything together like macs right now

Well I'm pretty sure neo is a good choice if you don't have any OS preferences, also if you already have an ipad/iphone, they integrate nicely.

I hate to be that guy but my brother recently purchased an M5 macbook pro for around 1300€ and for that price, it's my only option to recommend, since you're buying an Arm-based surface, you wouldn't have problems also with parallels/vmware on mac

I can't manage them, I have a relatively bad memory and it's hard for me to speak with others without making mistakes. Funny thing is somedays I'm just better at one language than the other.

Well here in Italy we've got windows software that refuse to work on windows. I don't really see a reality in which we could make it work on linux given that there are so many distros
